Annual Call for Projects
Ferments du Futur organizes annual Calls for Projects (CFP), with members overseeing the entire management process, from defining themes to promoting results. These CFPs offer significant benefits to members, notably through direct involvement in Project Committees that can include up to three private or associate members, as well as enabling faster and more cost-effective access to generated results.
The selected projects cover diverse topics, with recurring subjects including biopreservation and food safety, sensory optimization, nutrition-health impact, modeling and consumer perception.
Eligibility
- The call for projects is open to all French public research organizations, as well as technical institutes affiliated with ACTIA. Companies, including startups, are not eligible.
- To achieve this, transdisciplinary and collaborative approaches are strongly encouraged. The project's ability to lead to proof of concept or even protectable results (patents, know-how, etc.) at the end of the project (TRL 3-4 at the end of the project) will be examined during the selection process.
- Project coordinators have priority access to equipment funded by FdF at its innovation center (CI2F) in Orsay and on its distributed platforms (PFD) in seven INRAE units. They can contact FdF to check availability and equipment costs.
- FdF will be able to fund six projects with a maximum individual amount of €250,000 and a maximum duration of two years.
